It’s my favorite time of the year! I thrive when the sun is out and love warm weather activities and food. Meals that require a small amount of cooking (like boiling noodles), or no cooking at all is what my body craves. A short ingredients list, and knowing my son will eat it are other added bonuses.
Take this Macaroni Salad for example. Pasta, veggies, a lil seasoning, and Annie’s French Dressing is all you need to make this warm weather staple. You all know by now that I love to make my own sauces/dressings when I can.. but I’m in my 3rd trimester and I will happily take the shortcut, especially when it involves Annies. If you can dice a couple of veggies, you can make this recipe. Have little ones? Include them in the kitchen like we do. They love it, and they’re more willing to try foods when they’ve helped make it.
We love grabbing Annie’s French Dressing at our local Natural Grocers. I grew up with them in Kansas, and was so happy when they started popping up in my area of Texas. I always know where to find everything, as do the employees. Knowing they carry quality brands, like Annie’s, is another reason we’ll stay loyal shoppers. Plus, the smaller store footprints makes it less-tiring for my pregnant feet.
